For Mattel, we demonstrated the best way to create a local flavor of the popular word guessing game, socially.

Pictionary is a guessing word game designed by Robert Angel and first published in 1985 and is now owned by Mattel. The game is played with teams with players trying to identify specific words from their teammates' drawings.

The Mattel team was looking for a creative way to create interest in the Pictionary brand. Interactive SG created an online platform that would allow anyone in Singapore to suggest, vote and share their favourite locally flavoured words.

After 3 months, the Pictionary SG platform recieved over 4000 words submissions and tens of thousands of votes, comments and ratings.

Special launch event for Children's Cancer Foundation was held at Singapore's Takashimaya in Singapore featuring well known TV personality Gurmit Singh as "Phua Chu Kang". The final 500 words were bundled along with the standard Pictionary game and sold across Singapore.
